The Holiday Resort Didim

Best holiday of my life. Everything was perfect! The pool and sea were really good, and the animators were funny and kind. I think it's the best hotel in Turkey 🇹🇷🫶

The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, which might suit you if you don't like touristy places. Staff are super friendly, and the food is good, mostly local dishes with plenty of vegetables and fish. Since the main guests are Poles and ruSSians, the longest queue is for chicken. The beach is fairly dirty, with cigarette butts everywhere, though the shallow water feels safe for kids. The music is the biggest issue. There are only 15 songs on repeat, and it's so loud you can barely talk by the pool, never mind take a nap. The kids' mini disco at 9PM is just as loud. Not many kids want to join in, and they prefer dancing about 50m from the stage. The so-called 'here we go DJ' didn't seem to see a problem, even after parents complained several times.

It's a decent hotel with good all-inclusive service, though nothing fancy. The beach is clean, the sea is shallow and clear, and the pool is nice. There was a good variety of food, except the melons and watermelons weren't ripe enough. Plenty of beer and spirits too, including gin and vodka. Rooms are spacious enough and cleaned regularly. The downsides: wifi only works in the lobby, bar, and beach, not in rooms. Sometimes the restaurant isn't air conditioned and gets too hot. There were a few stray dogs on the beach, but they were generally friendly and we had no trouble. We didn't join the animation, so I can't comment on it. I recommend the hotel.

I especially liked the food, it was really tasty, and the animators kept guests busy with fun games. The staff were cool and treated guests well. It's a good hotel, and I'd recommend it.
