It's a great hotel at an affordable price. I especially recommend a guided tour with a guy named Omar!

It's okay. Guide Omar is great.
An inexpensive hotel in the town center, run by locals.
Basic.
We ended up staying two nights in Diyarbakir, even though our Eastern Turkey tour usually meant just one night per city. We were happy with Surkent Hotel, and there was plenty to see nearby. It was among the cleanest and most affordable places we stayed, so we'd choose Surkent Hotel again if we return to Diyarbakir. The neighborhood is great for walking to the city walls and other historic spots, and our room was roomy and clean. We booked by phone and could already tell the owner was attentive. At arrival we got a warm welcome, and they let us use a four-person room for five without charging extra. Tea was free day and night. Thanks! Surkent👍👍👍🧿🧿🧿🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
