Arca Palace Otel & Restaurant

The main drawback was the noise from the restaurant at the Antik Hotel across the street. People sang loudly until 2:30 AM, customers joined in, and it got noisy. The police came and stopped them, but the singing started up again. I don't think it would be an issue on weekdays. There's also no air conditioning because of the building's historic nature. They have fans, though it was quite cool at night. One thing to plan for: standard rooms don't have two single beds, so two men need to book a family room. On the plus side, I enjoyed staying in this historic building, which I read used to be the Public Debt Administration. The room and bathroom were nice, and the breakfast should satisfy you for both its garden setting and variety. Thanks to the hotel owners. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Edirne.

The food was delicious, from the appetizers and drinks to the way everything was presented. Whatever we asked for came to the table promptly and without anything being forgotten. The staff who looked after us were welcoming and kept preparing tasty dishes. We were so happy, had a great time, and I'd recommend it. My endless thanks to everyone for their hard work. We held our engagement party here today. The old building's character comes through in the walls, ceiling, and even the floor. It's a long room with tables for four and fits about 100 people comfortably. There's not much room for dancing inside, but the entrance and back garden work well for that. There are rooms upstairs too. They're spacious and comfortable, with a double bed and a separate bed for a child, if you have one. Edirne's old historic atmosphere is all around. Best regards.

The music from the bar across from the historic hotel carried into my room until 3:00 AM. When I told reception, the employee said the issue couldn't be resolved and directed me to the police. I said I'd write a review, and they got angry and told me to “get lost.” I couldn't leave at 3:00 AM, so I tried to sleep while still upset about how I'd been treated. Think carefully before booking. Rooms 1 and 2 should be avoided during the day.

The building feels like it belongs to another era, and everywhere you go there's a sense of its history. It was the Ottoman financial department, and it's been renovated beautifully. There's a huge terrace, a great hostess, and a very clean fish restaurant, with no alcohol, integrated into the place. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared with plenty of choice, and we enjoyed our stay. It's just a few minutes' walk to the center. There isn't air conditioning, so we only stayed one night in summer. It can't be installed because of the building's history, which I think is fine.
