We picked this place for our Kazdağları trip because the rating was so high. The owners were good to deal with, but the location and facilities didn't do much for us. There wasn't anything to do, and the rooms were plain. At 3000 TL per person per night, we were basically paying for a bed and breakfast. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back in the evening felt like walking into a funeral home. It was empty and boring. If all you need is somewhere to sleep and that's what you expect, though, it should be fine.

The breakfast won me over: warm pastries, handmade gözleme, and mixed fried dishes, all tasting natural and lovingly made. Konak Lapeistra Boutique Hotel is beautifully put together, with colorful wood, vintage touches, and modern details. Every corner, from the doors and windows to the floors and tiles, feels considered. The rooms and towels were spotless, and that clean scent when I got into bed was so refreshing. Most of all, Hediye Hanım and her siblings made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, and care for guests felt deeply sincere. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels at home and abroad, but I haven’t met an owner quite so kind and attentive. Hediye Hanım's sister, brother, and sibling were just as friendly. Staying in Çamlıbel Village at the foot of the Kazdağları Mountains felt like more than a holiday. Konak Lapeistra is a home with a soul. Don’t wait for a special occasion to visit.

We were there as a couple in early November 2025, and I'd gladly go back for Hediye Hanım's breakfast alone. It's made with natural products and was that good. The place is among the best boutique hotels I've stayed in. Its setting and the natural beauty around it are lovely, but the people who built and run it are what make it special. We also wandered among the olive trees, tried the garden tangerines when they were in season, and played with the kittens in the garden. Definitely worth experiencing firsthand.
