The south side of the little Egirdir peninsula is where the hotel is, though this Google location is wrong. The landscape around there reminded us of Haute Provence, with empty nature reserves, clear lakes, and rivers. People were proud to have tourists visit and kept saying “welcome,” often trying a word or two of English. The family who run the place are helpful and speak charming English. They make everything in the restaurant themselves, including marmalade that's to die for. We had the best grilled trout, just 10 TL, along with a range of meat dishes and mezze. The waterside restaurant is across a very quiet street, right by wonderfully clear water that's great for swimming. Breakfast was served there too, just 2 metres from the water, a stunning spot. We stayed in a simple family room that was very clean, with a modern, clean bathroom.

The view was unsurpassed, the room comfortable and clean, and the food fresh and tasty. The setting is stunning, and the host was delightful, with wonderful hospitality. Loved it!
