The beach area was the best part, and the staff were helpful and easy to find whenever we needed something. But we arrived without reading reviews and found an old, neglected hotel. There was rust in the bathroom hot water and on the bathroom ceilings, plus fly droppings on the room ceiling. Booking directly through the hotel costs more than using travel agencies. The buffet was very limited and factory-like: you queue, pick between two main dishes, and staff serve the food to you.

Evenings were the highlight for us. The entertainment was enjoyable, especially Mr. Cesur's amazing performance. The dinner soups and appetizers were very tasty too. The rooms were another story: old and neglected, with the bathroom and toilet badly in need of renovation. Our Ets Tur booking was advertised as deluxe but didn't match the room we got. They moved us later, and the second room was a little better, though still hostel-like. The bed and pillows weren't comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights. Erdek is known for olives, but the black olives at breakfast were tasteless and very low quality. Balıkesir is known for white cheese, yet this was bland, cheap, and tasteless too. The pool was small and crowded, and just one slide worked, so we didn't use it. The beach was nice, though the sunbeds need cushions. There didn't seem to be fixed working hours. Someone who started at 8 am was still on shift at 9 pm, and the waitress served tables in both the morning and evening.

We spent 4 nights and 5 days here from August 24th to 28th, 2025, and it was a lovely break. My mother and uncle are disabled and visually impaired, and they were especially comfortable. The rooms were spotless, and although some furniture may be a little old, I didn't see that as a major drawback. The food was excellent, particularly the buffet. The sea was crystal clear, and the walking path was fantastic. We chose the stone house and loved sitting in its garden in the evenings. Thanks to Ms. Esra, Ms. Özlem, and Ms. Ceren for their patience and care, and to all the staff for being so attentive and cheerful. I ignored the reviews before coming and am glad I did. It's a great place to unwind. Thank you for everything, and I hope we can visit again.

The hotel looks lovely from outside, with its sculptures and swings, and the location is beautiful. Having its own beach, a shallow sea, and a nice evening walking route were all real positives. The air conditioning worked and there was always hot water. Kids have lots of fun in the pool, so it seems well suited to families. The young staff clearing tables were attentive and worked tirelessly. Food ranged from average on some days to very good on others, so the people calling it terrible are wrong. I was unsure what to expect because the reviews were split between very negative and glowing, and neither extreme matches my experience. The main issue was hygiene and the state of the rooms. They were very old, with rusty, loose door handles you didn't want to touch, and they need a complete renovation. Water leaked from the shower cabins and left the whole room damp after a few days. Half the shower head sprayed elsewhere, and it was rusty too. The toilet had stubborn dirt that should have been removed. Every room should have a shower cabin, even the cheapest ones. Maybe room quality varies by type. The cleaning staff were working, and I don't want to blame them, but the old, impractical rooms never felt properly clean. The hotel has only just changed hands, so perhaps they'll fix these issues over time. With the necessary renovations, it could be a pleasant holiday.

The staff were friendly, and Ms. Özlem at reception and Mr. Yadigar from the service team were especially helpful. The garden was lovely, live music played 5 days a week, and the palm tree inside and decorative pieces at the entrance gave the place a distinctive feel. The glass-enclosed elevator was another nice touch. The hotel sits right by a fine-sand beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, in a quiet part of Erdek. The view was beautiful, and the aqua park is there too. Breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast had a good range, especially the pastries, cookies, and desserts, while dinner was generally tasty with lots of appetizers. Sheets and towels were clean. There was hot water around the clock. The old air conditioning still cooled well, and they provided a hair dryer, hand soap, and shower gel. Renovation is urgently needed. The hotel used to be called Erdek Sun Beach and changed hands recently, before all the work was finished. Rooms without balconies were small. The doors were old, and a door frame fell on my sister. The nails might have pierced her face if it had hit differently. The toilet had yellow stains and wobbled when you sat down. Tap water tasted bad, so we brushed our teeth with bottled water. One shower stall was missing a door, which left the whole bathroom wet. Some balcony plaster railings were broken, the plastic coffee table was cracked, and there was only one hanger in the wardrobe. Rice pilaf was served twice during the week, undercooked both times. The sea had some seaweed, and watermelon was served every evening. Tea was free only at breakfast. After breakfast, the fridge with drinking water was chained shut until dinner. The aqua park pool was small, and only one slide was working.
