Villa Ece Pansiyon

We were pleased with our stay, and having the beach right there was a big plus. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and there were sun loungers on the beach. But since we went at the end of the season, the hotel and beach were deserted, and we were the only guests. It felt as though the hotel had shut down. Breakfast being included would have made it better value. The hotel smelled of mothballs, maybe because of its age. The loungers started being collected around 7:00, which wasn't great for evening swims. Maybe they collect them later in the season, but I don't know. We asked for the Wi-Fi password over WhatsApp, and apparently it was left for us, though we couldn't understand that either. If I went to Erdek during the season, I'd go farther and book a guesthouse in one of the villages rather than a hotel in the city center. I've attached a photo of the room's view.

The room was tiny but adequate, with only a hairdryer and refrigerator. We brought our own kettle, glasses, and iron. The hotel's location and beach are lovely, and guests get free sun loungers and umbrellas. Hygiene was lacking, especially the textiles and bathroom cleaning. The people we dealt with were hospitable and friendly, and they let us check out later since a room was available. Thank you.

At Villa Ece, we had two balconies, one above the other, which worked great for our group of four. One had a place to hang wet clothes, and the other had chairs and a table. I also liked the coded or key operated entrance door. The rooms were really nice, and we were greeted with smiles as soon as I walked in. The service was truly 5-star, not 10. We ate at Gül Plaj Hotel, where the food was delicious and the menu changed every day. The chef's dishes stood out, and the waiters and staff were excellent. Everyone at Villa Ece was kind and kept asking if we needed anything. We were happy with our summer stay and are thinking of coming back. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone reading the reviews. The food was delicious, and the hotel sits right on the seafront, very close to the market. We had a wonderful family holiday and felt as comfortable as we do at home. The staff were attentive, especially Mr. Echo, whom we'd like to thank. Thanks for everything.
