A good choice for the price. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and ready to help.

Super.

The rooms were clean, the food was very good, and both breakfast and dinner had enough variety. The staff were friendly and polite, and the hotel and Mr. Cengiz clearly did their best. We had parking, and they took care of it. The shared spaces on each floor were handy in the evenings, with a view of the Maiden's Castle. Our balcony had plenty of room to sit, too. We stayed in two adjoining rooms after coming from Ankara for a short family break, and found the hotel through an “advertisement” on its Instagram page. Otherwise, I wouldn't have discovered the hotel or the lovely Erdemli and Kızkalesi area from home in Ankara. Thanks to everyone for their hard work, and all the best. A couple of things in the rooms could be improved: there were no mosquito nets, so we bought and fitted mosquito repellent, and all the rooms used duvet covers instead of sheets. A shower cabin would also be useful if one can be added. The bigger issue was the setting. The hotel is beside a road open to traffic, and when people were having free tea or coffee, or eating breakfast and dinner downstairs, there was a lot of noise, especially on holidays. Young people and teenagers would come by in their cars to show off. Mr. Cengiz's ability to fix this is limited, since it's a political issue. There's a lot more I could say about that, but this isn't the place for it. We came after a long trip from Ankara, and that surrounding noise was what bothered us. If you're planning four nights and five days over a holiday period and have a car, you might prefer a private place where you can take the family to the beach, plan your time, and head out early to enjoy the day. Of course, we could have picked another hotel somewhere else or rented a villa, but then arranging meals would have been a problem for the women in our family :) I believe in considering the circumstances and putting yourself in others' shoes before a trip.

The owner, Mr. Cengiz, has been running the hotel for a year and is a professional. It's doing very well now. I don't know what it was like before, but it's definitely worth visiting. The staff and owner are attentive, respond quickly, and help with what you need. The rooms are good quality, and they have their own sun loungers and parking. It's right by the beach promenade, close to the main road, and you can watch your child swim from the balcony. If your balcony doesn't face the sea, there are extra balconies by the fire escape on every floor for guests to use. You don't need to look elsewhere if you're after a place without a pool. Breakfast isn't a buffet, but it's filling and there's plenty of variety. Shopping is nearby, as are a health center and a pharmacy. Prices are around average, and they may be flexible and offer help depending on how you speak with them. If you don't already have a place to stay, you needn't search for somewhere else.
