It had only been open for a year in August 2017, so the building and its fittings were all new. The rooms had enough amenities for a decent stay, and I still think it deserves four stars. But upkeep and management felt stretched thin, doing only the bare minimum. Breakfast was limited and fell short of what you'd expect, and the plain white walls made the interior feel more like a student hostel.

Mustafa was a big help, and the hotel is really good value for the money. There’s a beach right across the road with loungers and umbrellas, and it’s close to the Woodland Pier. The ferry to Bozcaada is about 4 km away. There’s no pool, but with such clear, beautiful water right there, I can’t see why you’d want to swim in one. The room internet had some issues, though those have been fixed.

I booked from a distance for my parents, and was surprised by how kind and understanding the hotel owner was. When they arrived, he sent me the first update about them, and that introduction felt so sincere and heartfelt. Finding people who understand you mattered most to me, and this is a really nice place to choose. Many thanks again to Mr. Mustafa for his service and understanding.
