The pool was amazing, warm, and open very late. The hotel was clean, the rooms were large, the bed was comfortable, and soundproofing was fine. Staff were friendly, the location is great, and there are rows of free parking outside. I later found that free parking seems to be everywhere in Turkey. We stayed four nights. At first, we were put in a much smaller room because ours wasn’t available. The owner moved us to a larger one the next morning, though he never apologized. He seems to lose track of room assignments, and other reviews mention similar mix-ups. The main issue is that the hotel still isn’t finished, with missing sections of doors and walls and some broken areas, as shown in the attached pictures. It seems to be restored bit by bit using whatever money comes in, which wasn’t mentioned on any website. Breakfast was poor enough that we only had it once, though we didn’t mind much because there’s a cheap supermarket nearby. We also had no hot water for about 90% of our stay, so we just dealt with cold showers at night. If the owner shut the place for a week and renovated everything, it could easily be a five-star property. As it is, I’d rate it 3.5 stars, though we rounded up to be kind because the owner seemed clearly stressed.

The pool is large and nice, and breakfast was enough for me. There’s coffee, beer, and other things available for an extra charge. The hotel is close to Calis beach, and a minibus can take you to the city centre. There’s no hotel parking, but you can park in the empty lot opposite. We chose this place after reading a few positive reviews, but we regretted it. Cleanliness matters to me, and the room was so dirty I don’t know what to say. The carpet and the area around the bed were filthy too. Our balcony faced the back, and they said it had never been washed and they weren’t going to clean it. The room was still under construction and unfinished. When we wanted to shower in the evening, the solar hot water had already run out, and we had to keep asking for something. As soon as we arrived, they demanded the rest of the payment before we’d even put our things away. The pool itself was nice, but the surrounding area didn’t seem to be cleaned or maintained.
