Ata Park Hotel

A charming place with lots of character, friendly staff, and a lovely location overlooking the Port. Breakfast by the pool had such a nice feel to it. There isn’t a lift to every floor, but I didn’t mind the stairs for that view.

We spent a week here and had a lovely marina-view room. It was spotless, with fresh towels and sheets every day, and the staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was a little limited, but the omelets were great. The indoor pool wasn’t heated, which was disappointing in winter, so we couldn’t swim. We walked in the local mountains instead. Still, we had a lovely stay, thank you.

For what it costs, this hotel is intolerable. The upper floors feel like a greenhouse because of the ridiculous design. Our window couldn’t be opened, and the curtains were broken and wouldn’t close properly. Staff were extremely rude and inconsiderate. I asked reception twice, politely, to bring something to my room, and nobody came either time. I also reported disgusting leftovers from previous guests in the room, but nobody responded. A total disaster, don’t stay here.

We spent a week here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the night receptionist spoke English very well. The place was clean, the room was big with a great marina view, and breakfast was good. The building is old inside, which is why I gave it three stars. It’s at the edge of the city centre, with buses running all the time, and the area is calm.
