We had a terrible stay, and I would strongly advise against booking here. The breakfast was decent and the restaurant staff were lovely, but that didn’t make up for the way the hotel treated us. Several times our key cards stopped working and we couldn’t get into our rooms. One bed was detached from the wall, with wires sticking out. They moved us to an attic room, then tried to make us feel lucky and grateful to be there. The main problem was a payment dispute over two rooms we’d booked for three people. Each room was meant for two, and we paid the full price for both. The hotel staff claimed we had booked incorrectly and that their system charged by person rather than by room, though that rule wasn’t stated anywhere. They demanded another full amount for the single guest. We’ve booked multiple rooms through one account plenty of times elsewhere without any trouble. On check-in day, the receptionist said nothing about a problem and let us in. At 1 a.m., while we were asleep, a call woke us and demanded we come to reception. A young male employee then said he understood and we owed nothing extra. At 7 a.m. another call woke us, and the same employee rudely demanded more money. We also found threatening WhatsApp messages from the administration sent at 4 a.m. We checked the prices ourselves: even if we’d booked the rooms separately on different devices, the total would have been exactly what we’d already paid. They blamed us and Booking.com. Booking.com support agreed to cancel the transaction if the hotel confirmed a penalty-free cancellation, so we could rebook under the hotel’s supposed rules. The hotel refused and kept saying we had to pay again. Their ultimatum was that either we paid the amount they demanded or our friend, whose separate room we’d already paid for, couldn’t stay or use hotel services. Booking.com representatives tried repeatedly to reach the hotel, but it wouldn’t answer. The way staff spoke to us was incredibly rude. The manager kept hiding in a back room, coming out now and then to shrug. They treated us as if we were criminals trying to put three people into one room, even though we had deliberately booked two rooms to avoid that. We still have screenshots, receipts and recordings, so accusations that we made mistakes or behaved badly won’t work. Afterwards, management offered to return the money they had taken if we removed this review, which might explain the mostly positive ratings. They seemed surprised when we refused to delete it and offered only to update it. We were told we’d get the money back only if the review disappeared. We still haven’t received an apology.

I arrived after 5 a.m. on October 3 and later enjoyed the view from room 506, a corner room on the top floor. The location is great for going out: the main strip, with shops, food, buses and taxis, is a two-minute walk away. Fethiye Market Old Town is about 20 minutes away, and Oludeniz, with its beaches, shops and restaurants, is 10 minutes away. Check out Pasà restaurant. One of the single mattresses was badly sunken, though the other was fine, and the pillows were too high. The young man who welcomed us found me a comfortable pillow, so I slept well that night. From October on, nights get cold, so a duvet would be useful; not everyone will use the heat. There’s also a lingering bathroom smell that may be from the drainage and needs looking into. Thanks to the young man I called my security for escorting me to breakfast in the pouring rain, to the lovely young woman who gave us Turkish tea while we waited to leave, and to the man who carried our heavy suitcases to reception. You were all so welcoming. I’ll definitely stay again, especially in summer.

Spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi and a decent breakfast, all at a very affordable price. The staff were attentive, especially Mustafa Bey and Zhanha at reception. It’s also well placed for Ölüdeniz, Kayaköy and the start of the Lycian Way.

Zhanna at reception was so friendly and explained everything clearly. My room was very clean and had a balcony, and the huge breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. A beautiful hotel. I’d like to come back.

This was my first visit, and I’d happily return. The hotel is lovely and in a great spot, just a five-minute walk from the bars, restaurants and shops. My large room came with air conditioning, a fridge, kettle and safe, all included in the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was a nice Turkish spread with an omelette chef on duty every day. I was travelling alone as an English guest, and most of the other guests were Turkish, but that didn’t put me off coming back.
