Celay Hotel

After a fantastic 10 days, we’re heading to the airport. Our first stay at this beautiful hotel was amazing from start to finish. The pool was spotless, and there were plenty of sunbeds each day. The hard-working maids did a superb job cleaning our room. Everyone was incredible, from George, who works so hard to keep everything spotless and running smoothly, to Izzy, who did all she could for everyone with a smile, and all the staff in between. Thank you all so much. See you in 51 weeks. ❤️

The management was fantastic, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our two weeks here with the family in July. Our room was cleaned every day, and the bar and meals were fairly priced. We knew before booking that air conditioning cost £5 per day, and paid for it for the full two weeks, so there were no surprise charges. Celay, thank you for looking after us so well. We’ll gladly come back. People who want five-star accommodation should choose and pay for it; some choose a cheaper place knowing the difference, then start gossiping.

The pool and bar area were excellent, and the staff were great. Rooms are simple, but clean and well looked after, which makes sense for the price.

The meals were the biggest disappointment. Breakfast was basic and inexpensive, but barely changed all week, so we ended up eating elsewhere. We also paid for dinner at the hotel restaurant and found it very disappointing. Prices felt high across the board, and it only seems worthwhile if you're all inclusive. For fairly priced, outstanding meals, Badam Restaurant is just a 10-minute walk away. The room we booked was meant to be deluxe, but felt like a basic double. We were first given a twin, and had to return to reception with our booking details before they moved us. Basic holiday extras like air conditioning and a safety deposit box also cost extra.
