HZD Apartments Hostel

The dorm room was clean enough, and I was glad I booked the men's one since it was the largest. The kitchen had everything I needed, and there were friendly cats around. The shower and toilet were just okay. The mattresses have seen better days, though. There’s no AC, so nights get very hot, even if the fans they provide make it bearable. The owner charges 100 lira for a towel. That isn’t much, but at 20 eur+ a night in 2024, I’d consider a towel standard, especially when traveling ultra light like I do. The location is sweet, about a 15-minute walk to the bus station and close to everything else. The Tuesday Fethiye market, shops and restaurants are all nearby.

It felt like home as soon as I walked in. The owners are friendly and flexible about check-in, and the hostel is spotless and well equipped. It’s on a quiet street, but still very close to the center. Amazing place.

Mustafa speaks a little English, and when my car needed an auto-service, he helped me get there. I never would have sorted it out without him. The house is old and simply finished, so don't expect luxury, but it was clean, cosy and comfortable. It's a large house where rooms are rented out, with a shared bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, including a big fridge, hot water and a gas oven. The location is very central, about a 10-minute walk from the seaside promenade, cafes and restaurants. There's also a nice market close to the house on Tuesdays. I can definitely recommend it and would book here again.

Mustafa was a very kind host and looked after everything we needed. We stayed for a week in the off season and had a whole floor, kitchen included, to ourselves. There’s a supermarket just around the corner, and the place is close to the Fethiye Tombs and old town. The location worked really well for us. On Tuesdays there’s a big clothing market in the street, and Fridays bring a huge farmers market.
