Surf Apart Otel

We spent a week here in July 2020 in a three bedroom apartment with our two children. The hotel was very clean, the staff attentive, and they had taken all the necessary pandemic precautions. It’s a lovely family run place. We liked it so much that we booked another week for August 2020 without hesitation. Our friends stayed in the other four bedroom apartment and were very happy too. The quiet, clean, family atmosphere suited us wonderfully. Many thanks to Mr. Harun, his lovely mother, Ms. Serap, and Ms. Gül for everything.

We stayed for a week with our two children, and it was a wonderful place. It’s clean, the staff are lovely, and the location is superb. We especially liked the cool setting and the lack of mosquitoes. It’s a high quality spot for a comfortable family or friends’ stay. Just book your vacation and enjoy your time. The service and atmosphere were lovely, and the place was very clean. We could only be happy there. Five stars.

We called during the day to ask about rooms for three couples: one couple with a child and baby, one with two children, and one without children. They said they had space, so we arrived at midnight. The rooms weren’t set up with beds. They offered single beds for the two children, but we refused because they wouldn’t fit. The owner then offered us an extra room so they wouldn’t have to bring beds down. We agreed on the condition that the price wouldn’t change, and he agreed. At reception, they said we had to pay a 100 TL cleaning fee. We reminded them we’d asked about this beforehand. He said he’d take cash, but we wanted to pay by card. My wife explained that the staff were waiting at the door to take us home and that we had come here. The owner replied, “Oh, so you have a place to stay?” I said we’d leave and stay there. As I walked away, he rudely called after me, “You go, you go,” then came outside and berated me in the garden, asking why I wouldn’t pay the extra 100 lira after he’d given us a room. They’d agreed at first, but once we got to reception they stalled us, saying it was midnight and late. The rooms assigned to us were quite unprepared, and the staff spoke disrespectfully, in a sly, country manner. I absolutely don’t recommend this place. It felt like they were trying to take advantage and get as much money out of us as possible. We ended up paying 300 TL per room, 900 TL total, late at night. That’s your problem now. :)

We found this place by chance online while traveling in August. We only stayed one night, but were extremely pleased. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and being close to Fethiye was a real plus. For the price, the quality was top notch. It’s a family run place with a friendly atmosphere, which we especially liked. We’re thinking of coming back for a longer stay. Thanks to Mr. Harun for being so attentive and friendly.
