Tombul Apart

We worried a little that the apartment was far from the center, but by car it took only 10-15 minutes to get there easily, and we had no regrets. Seven of us, two families, stayed very comfortably in the spacious apartment. The new, clean furnishings were reassuring, and the price was economical and worth every penny. The landlord was attentive and friendly. I’d choose this place with complete peace of mind.

We drove around the city for five days and spent at most 1000 lira on fuel, so to me there’s no point paying 5,000 or 10,000 lira more per day to stay downtown. The center is noisy, while the quieter location let us sleep peacefully. The house was spotless, the cleanest furnished rental I’ve stayed in, whether a guesthouse or a house. It’s a 3+1, and the sheets and pillowcases were clean enough that my usual hygiene worries didn’t apply. I was nervous about renting online, especially in pricey places, but you can come here without hesitation. It matched the pictures. Every room has air conditioning, though we didn’t need it, perhaps because we were on the ground floor and it was breezy. All windows have mosquito screens, so we could leave them open without getting bitten. There’s a regular bathroom and an en-suite, plus two toilets, one Turkish style and one Western style. Anyone with knee problems can pick the ground floor, or stay upstairs in a replica of the same house. Many thanks to the landlord. Anıl’s mention made me smile.

Mr. Yunus was attentive and hospitable, and I’m grateful for that. The place feels like a cozy home, which was a lovely extra. It’s surrounded by nature and peaceful, but still close to the city.
