Hakoni House

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms have full-size wardrobes so you can unpack and feel at home instead of living out of a suitcase. There’s lots of natural light wherever your room is, and the bathrooms are just as well equipped, with big showers that leave you feeling refreshed. The staff were welcoming and always trying to make the stay as good as possible. Special praise to the cook, whose delicious, authentic menu was a highlight for me. Hakoni House feels like a hug from an old friend: authentic, cozy and peaceful. Set in the foothills of the Rize highlands, it’s a real escape from the bustle of everyday life. Warm chestnut wood throughout gives the hotel a grounded, inviting feel while keeping its look minimalist. From the moment you walk in, the calm is immediate. It’s an experience worth traveling for and should be on everyone’s travel list.

We really enjoyed our stay. The comfortable beds, soothing sound of the mountain river, and thoughtful details throughout made this one of my favorite hotels. Even the speakers were top quality. The only small hiccup was the hot water running out quickly when our group all showered at once 😄. It didn’t spoil the experience. The Wi-Fi was also very slow, though I saw that as a plus.

The food was the best I had on our trip to Turkey, and our hosts were attentive and offered great suggestions for the rest of our travels. Hakoni was an incredible experience. The house is spotless and carefully thought out, and the architecture is impressive. I’d recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!

Amazing views, delicious food, and a fantastic staff made this the best vacation stay. Highly recommended. I wish I could give it six stars!
