Hergül Holiday Village

I spent one night here last summer. It’s tucked away from the main roads but still easy to find, and the cottages are quiet, clean, and cosy, with balconies and great valley views. The best part was chatting with the host, Ahmet. He’s such a gentle, kind person. If I’m passing through again, I’ll definitely stay here.

Need a break from the everyday rush and want to be out in nature? This is the spot. All you hear is wind in the trees, birds, and the occasional call to prayer. Ahmet is a fantastic host, super friendly and always ready to help with any problems. He even shares fresh fruit grown on the property. After an exhausting run, he gave me watermelon, as you can see in the picture.

The houses are lovely, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the views from the room are beautiful 😍👍 Such a cosy place. We’ll come back, thank you!

The Holiday Village sits just outside Gazipasa in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a good choice if you want some quiet and space away from the tourist hotspots, while still being able to drive quickly to Alanya and nearby sights. At night the sky is full of stars, with the sounds of animals around. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. The three chalets were clean and well equipped. Each has a private bathroom, kitchenette, living room, bedroom with mosquito nets on the windows, and a veranda overlooking the mountains. There’s also an outdoor water connection with a hose to cool off in hot weather, and each chalet has its own barbecue. The natural grounds have lime trees, carob trees, and cactus pears, which guests can pick and use for free anytime. Ahmet was a great host, friendly, speaks good English, and available around the clock. He picked us up from Gazipasa, drove us to a supermarket, arranged a cheap rental car through his contacts, and gave us tips for excursions. He also invited us to a barbecue as a goodbye.
