Unal Motel

I stayed with my mother and we were very happy. The rooms were spotless, thanks to Sultan, who took care of housekeeping. Mr. Celal, the hotel owner, and his son, Fahreddin, welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much for everything.

The sea was filthy around midday in August 2022, with weeds, debris, jellyfish and seaweed on the bottom. By evening, after the waves died down, it improved, and it was clean again in the morning, though jellyfish were still there. The beach just outside is private, and the hotel doesn't have an arrangement for sun loungers, so they cost 10 TL per person per day. I think the public beach areas have free loungers, but they may be hard to get. I paid 350 TL for the room. Inside, everything described was there, though the bathroom gave off a damp smell when its door was shut. Noise from the casino across the street was quite loud at night and could disturb sleep, but it does stop after a certain time. The barbecue area downstairs looks nice.

I called here as a last resort after our original destination suddenly went into quarantine. It was high season, some places were full and others said they had no room for three. I was traveling as a woman with children, and the attention and care we got made me very glad I called. The family atmosphere was lovely, including the chats and the conversations with my daughter, who is mentally disabled. We stayed two days, right across from the sea, with everything nearby and a market downstairs. It's easy to get to. I'm writing this on the way home, and I recommend it. I'll come back as soon as I get the chance.

The staff were so attentive and welcoming, and the rooms were clean. It was also close to places to eat and have fun. We went because of recommendations and reviews and had no problems that left us unhappy. My children and I had a wonderful stay, and we'd especially like to thank the staff for their hospitality and friendliness. We'll definitely return next year.
