D-Resort Gocek

The resort felt wide open, with no security at the entrance, and it seemed anyone could come in while children were playing nearby. For what we paid, the rooms were a major letdown: cramped, not very clean, without a proper chair or a decent view. Service was okay, though slow. Breakfast also fell short, with few hot choices and a long wait at the live cooking station because just one staff member was handling it. The facilities and restaurants weren't appealing, and we found it much better to head out and explore for food and other experiences. The place is extremely overpriced and, in my view, not worth even half the cost.

We ate at Olive’s several times, and everything from breakfast through dinner was top quality and delicious. Our Deluxe Suite was spotless, with housekeeping coming twice a day, high-end amenities, a bed that felt like a cloud, and a balcony view of the sea that took our breath away each morning. Every staff member we met had a genuine smile, and from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. My partner and I stayed for 7 nights, and it was the best holiday we’ve ever had. The whole stay was luxurious and relaxing, with world-class service. Everything was taken care of, so we could just unwind. Thank you to the team for making us so happy and satisfied. Absolute perfection, we can’t wait to come back!

The location was the one thing we didn't like. Weddings in the city square nearby on Saturday and Sunday nights were SO loud, and we could hear activity there every day. The hotel itself is beautiful, with friendly, nice, respectful staff. The rooms were pretty, and we liked the gym, though we didn't visit the spa. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were from a great brand, and every room had a Dyson hair dryer, which was great. Still, it's a really good hotel and we'd recommend a visit.

The private beach was a dream, with the bluest water, and the buggy service worked perfectly. We had an extremely relaxing stay at D-Resort and were so well looked after. The room was very comfortable, with lovely attention to detail, and both the hotel and service were excellent. I've just got home and can't wait to visit again. Thank you!
