The person who welcomed us was very nice, and the location is good. We also had great wifi and a comfortable bed. But there were a lot of problems beyond the surface during our 10-day stay. The washing machine had no detergent or place to hang clothes to dry. The kitchen only had salt and pepper, not even a little olive oil, and toiletries arrived only after we’d bought our own shampoo and shower gel. When we tried to clean, the vacuum didn’t work. The toaster tripped the electricity, the bathroom ventilation made a loud intermittent noise, and the pipes smelled strongly. We asked daily for help, but they only came to clean, bring fresh towels, and fix some issues the day before we left. It was a bit pricey for that time of year and service. Probably okay for a couple of days, but no longer.

We stayed in Gocek for two nights. Check-in was easy, and the two-level apartment above “kabab hospital” was nice. It’s a top spot for restaurants, the marina, and shops. There’s no parking, though off-street parking is available. One thing to know: the Kabab hospital exhaust fan is very noisy at night, right by the bedroom under the roof. You’ll need to ask them to switch it off so you can sleep, and they did accommodate us.

The location is fantastic, right by the Marina and shops, and the balconies have amazing views. The apartment feels cozy and clean, with friendly staff, especially Mr. Ismail and Mrs.Eda. There are also a fabulous villa for a big group and quality restaurants associated with the apartment, including the sea food restaurant (Kalamaris) and Turkish food at (kepap hospital). It really felt like being at home. Highly recommended. Thanks for hosting us, and hope to see you soon.

Apartment 5 had a really strong urine smell coming from the toilet. Luckily I was only there for two nights, but it was extremely disgusting and disappointing.

The balcony has a lovely view, and the place is comfortable and clean. It’s close to the seaside and everything else.
