Akar Butik Otel Gökçeada

The hotel is centrally located and has parking, which were good points. But when we needed help, the owner was slow to respond and should have been more attentive. The duvet wasn’t clean, and the face towel was stained. Sound insulation was incredibly poor. Even though lower-floor rooms were available, a newly arrived couple was put in the room next to ours for some reason, and their noise disturbed us. Still, thank you.

It’s right in the city centre, in a great location. The place was clean, and the service and attention were good. Many thanks again to Büşra, who looked after us.

We were surprised by how much it felt like a comfortable hotel room rather than a guesthouse. We hadn’t expected much in terms of cleanliness, but the bathroom was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The new air conditioning kept us comfortable too. It’s centrally located, with bus stops for the beach nearby, and the bus and taxi stands are only 100 meters from the hotel. Many thanks to Ms. Büşra and her family for their hospitality :)

It was our first visit to Gökçeada, and we found Akar Boutique Hotel online. We were very pleased with our two-night stay. Ms. Büşra was attentive, and the room was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. The location was excellent too. We’d definitely stay at the same place if we return to Gökçeada.
