Masi Hotel

The views are breathtaking, especially at sunset while having dinner outside, and then tea on the balcony. That's one of the things that keeps bringing me back almost every year. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We stay at Masi whenever we visit Gokceada. The hotel is stunning and feels authentic to the island, and the pictures don't do it justice. The rooms are huge, spacious and super clean. It was renovated and expanded a couple of years ago. The manager is lovely and attentive, and the staff are super friendly. It's close to the port, where islanders sell handmade items and you can have drinks with live music. The beaches are a 20-minute drive away, and the island's waters are great for surfing. Make sure to explore the whole island: Tepeköy has the view, Zeytinlikoy has dibek coffee and lokma, and Laz koyu is a laid-back beach spot, among many other places. Driving around the island takes only a few hours, but bring enough petrol because there's just one petrol station. Markets are about a five-minute drive from the hotel for snacks or anything else you need.

The view of the surrounding area is wonderful at this great luxury hotel outside the city. Breakfast was below the standard one would expect. Dinner is served as plated meals, with no free choice. Beer and other alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced.

The view was mesmerizing, and I think it's the best in town. We stayed two nights and had a perfect time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back.

Our experience at this hotel was so bad that we left the whole island. The treatment was very poor, breakfast service was terrible and the utensils were dirty. The rooms weren't clean and had insects. At 1,600 liras per night, I don't recommend it at all.
