Breakfast was a real feast of island flavors, so we were glad we didn't spend our breakfast budget eating out. The hotel is above its well-known Patisserie, and the Efi Badem cookies are a lovely local treat to enjoy or take home as a gift. Our family of four adults and two children had two well-arranged, spacious rooms. They were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, like the rest of the hotel. Mustafa Bey welcomed us warmly and made sure we were comfortable from the start. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The hotel is right in the town center, close to major sights and plenty of places to eat and spend time. We had a comfortable stay with good hospitality and food, and would recommend it to travelers visiting Gokceada.

On my first five-day visit to Gokceada, I was impressed by the hotel's exterior as well as the interior design and excellent furnishings. The room was clean and very comfortable. I'd recommend it to families and other visitors.

The hotel itself is really nice, but our second visit left me unhappy with how the price was handled. The first time we stayed, we booked through Booking and everything was fine. For the next stay, we booked directly with the hotel and were quoted a price. On the day we left, they said we owed extra because the price had gone up for four of our six nights due to a religious celebration. We had asked every day to pay, but were repeatedly told, “Enjoy your stay, no rush for paying.” I consider this way of treating clients unacceptable.
