Suna Beach Kefaloz

We spent two days in a row here, taking front-row spots, and left satisfied. Each spot came with a table and trash can, and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout. After paying for broken, sloping loungers in Laz Bay, this felt like paradise, with a small Bodrum beach feel. The staff are professional and present, and the service is very good for this place. I think the prices are reasonable if you want to spend a bit for good service and comfortable sunbeds. In July, the first tier has a 3000 TL spending limit, and once you reach it the sunbed is free. The second tier has a 1500 TL limit with the same arrangement. In the third tier and beyond, sunbeds and umbrellas cost 500 TL, with food and drinks extra. The limits differ by row: front, second, third, then the rows after that. The food was average. My wife felt a little nauseous, though we don't know if it was from the food or from swallowing water. There are public beach toilets a 2-minute walk away, but they're dirty. The hotel's beach toilet is spotless and a 4-5 minute walk away. Many thanks to the staff for being so attentive and helpful.

The shade from the big umbrella meant the sun didn't bother me, and the cushioned sunbeds with pillows were really comfortable. I liked the beachy atmosphere and the music, including the foreign songs they sometimes played for a summery feel. It was recommended by the guy at my apartment, and I'm glad I went. It's the best beach in Kefalos. The one ridiculous part was having to pay for a double sunbed when I was alone. If the concern is people taking up space, why charge me for a bed I don't use? At Ayazma beach I could pay for a single one.

The beach is beautiful, but Alaçatı-level prices don't feel justified to me. Businesses let you use sunbeds and umbrellas for 500 TL, and you can bring your own food and drinks. There's a 1500 TL spending limit per person, and the 3000 TL limit doesn't make much sense to me.

Suna Beach is my favorite. The staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to help, and the owner Taylan is just as helpful and a really good guy. Onur, Enes, and Mahmut deserve a special mention, they're fantastic and give great service. 10 out of 10!
