Daphnis Hotel

We had a relaxing getaway with friends at Daphnis Hotel, right along the pretty seaside with lovely sea views. The staff were professional, friendly, and quick to help with requests, and did their best to make the stay enjoyable. Breakfast came with local, fresh flavors and tea, and you can spend the day at the hotel. We also enjoyed eating at Barbun Restaurant. The rooms were fresh, white, and clean, though the bathrooms could use an update. I'd happily recommend it for a seaside break with friends or family and hope to return.

We loved our week at Daphnis in June with our family of four. The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. Alihan went above and beyond every day, and the rest of the team were great too. The hotel is right on the beach, in a perfect location. We'll definitely be back.

The best part was the location near Reana beach and some other beaches I really liked. The room was very basic, but it had the essentials and was fine for a very short stay. The hairdryer was surprisingly powerful. The staff felt stiff and unwelcoming, and no one gave us information at check-in. The in-room supplies were extremely limited, just cotton buds, slippers, and shower gel. The mini-kitchen boiler, cutlery, and toilet were dirty or stained, and the toilet paper roll wasn't even new. Most TV channels apart from the Turkish ones didn't work. I left disappointed.

We paid 200 euros a night for two adults and a teenager, but the rooms were so basic we didn't even want to sleep in them. The online photos are misleading. The shower kept clogging, the beds were in really bad shape, and there wasn't even a fridge in the room. Breakfast didn't include coffee, and even the tea was below standard. Anything to eat or drink at the restaurant cost a lot, and for those prices you'd expect something decent. We were very disappointed, and I wouldn't recommend it.
