The prices are like a five-star hotel, but this place is extremely overpriced and feels like it's just keeping the owner's family afloat. The hotel is falling apart with age, and I haven't stayed somewhere this run-down in a long time. There was no refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was tiny and filthy, with years of dirt, and the old towels felt like sandpaper. The toilet leaked and left the floor soaked. Breakfast was a complete fiasco, supposedly a buffet. When we pointed out the stale bread, they said, "We toasted it before you arrived!" :D Don't go.

Mandalya Hotel is right by the beach and serves à la carte food throughout the day. It's a modest, pet-friendly place with a village feel, where you can feel at home. The sea has a sandy bottom and gets deeper gradually, making it a good choice for families or anyone after a peaceful, pleasant holiday. My thanks and respect to Mr. Toros, his family, and the whole hotel team for a wonderful stay. I hope to see you again soon. Regards, Melih

The seafood is delicious, and Gokhun is in the kitchen. To me, this is the bay's most welcoming place. The owners are long-time Bodrum locals, refined and courteous in the way they run their business.
