Casaba Pansiyon

Our flight was delayed, so we arrived a week later than planned. Alkan, the Casaba Pansion manager, understood and kept our prepaid booking. He also helped us with the gas tank we needed for the hike on Likiya way. We stayed one night because the pansion is close to the Canyon where the route starts. It’s modest, pleasant, and clean, though the bathroom could use some attention since things are a bit old. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Alkan for being so helpful and understanding.

A good value stay, with a comfortable room and a pleasant cafe space in the garden for eating or just relaxing. The location is handy too, near the city center and within walking distance of Goynuk Canyon. Alkan, the owner, was friendly and wonderful, with great stories and fortune-telling.

Before heading onto the Lycian Way, our group of eight wanted a good night’s rest for the days of walking ahead. Casaba Pansiyon was a lovely choice. The rooms were clean and well looked after, and had everything we needed to sleep well. We spent time talking with the hosts over Turkish tea in the garden. They’re caring, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about their work. Many thanks to Alkan and the rest of the Casaba team for their big hearts. We’d love to come back.

We were picked up near the canyon, then the staff helped us cook dinner and brought us more food. They even treated us to Raki, tea, and melon. Everyone was incredibly kind. This was honestly our best Pension experience on the Lycian way. Thank you so much! ❤️
