Bodrum Masali Camping

It’s inland, so you’ll need a car to get to the beaches, but that also means much better summer nights. Even in July and August you can sleep without sweating. The place is very quiet and clean, and the owners are excellent, caring people who are ready to meet all your tour needs. All recommendations.

18/05/2023 In my opinion, the drive from Bodrum wasn’t worth the slog. We thought we might have the wrong place and had to check the website photos. For a motorhome or van, the off season price is 500tl per night with electricity, or 400tl without. That was the most we paid anywhere in Turkey for the least favourable setup from a motorhome traveller’s point of view. It really isn’t suitable for large or wide vehicles either. The website descriptions are very creative, and what’s offered won’t suit a lot of budgets.

The steady breeze made the summer heat much more comfortable, and they even provided us with a tent roof for shade. Mr. Ayhan and Mrs. Hacer run this excellent camping area. I looked up Bodrum camping areas online and visited four other places, but none was very good, so Bodrum Masalı Camping was my final stop. Everything was clean, including the restrooms, showers, and tent spaces. Visitors have two large fridges, a washing machine, a clothes drying machine, an open kitchen, a regular kitchen, one oven, a barbecue area, and three power outlets per tent, with the option to use another if needed. If you need something, you can find it here. It was perfect, and I’d recommend it to everyone. We’ll come back.

The facilities are nicely equipped, with hot water, clean bathrooms, electricity, and an open air kitchen. Everyone there was really friendly. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely come back one day.
