Mio Sweet Home Hotel

I’d give it 3.5 points. For the price, the location is excellent, with the municipal beach just 15 seconds away, even though the hotel isn’t right on the seafront. I stayed five nights. It’s a small, charming place on a quiet street and generally clean. I liked my room and the balcony, and the old furniture didn’t bother me. But the bathroom was extremely small, and with no shower door, water kept leaking out. Two people wouldn’t be comfortable in that room. There’s no kettle or water in the room, and tea and Nescafe cost extra if you ask for them. Management felt very amateurish, more like a distant relative’s summer house than a hotel, and I found myself hesitating to ask for anything. The listing on Etstur is for a hotel, not an apartment or guesthouse, so cleaning should happen at least every two days, if not daily. During my five nights, it was done once, and I had to request the towel change too. Breakfast was inadequate, though about what I expected at this price. One night, employees’ guests made noise at reception, and I had to warn them at 1 PM. I didn’t experience disrespect or excessive familiarity. A little more professionalism in handling these issues would have left me much more satisfied. Sincerely.

The five stone-house-style rooms are carefully decorated and arranged to suit the number of guests, and ours was spacious, clean, and had its own private veranda. There’s free parking around the hotel. It’s a quiet place for relaxing, yet just a minute from the sea. You can swim at the municipal beaches or the hotel beaches, and the sea is lovely. Don’t miss the morning breeze. Gündoğan Beach is right next to the hotel too, so it’s easy to step down into a livelier atmosphere. Breakfast is standard. Mehtap, the owner, has very sweet dogs and is a real animal lover. You might even find a cat sleeping next to you. The room sleeps four, and we had it cleaned whenever needed. Breakfast is included, buffet style, and more than adequate for one person. There’s a nice spot by the entrance where guests can mingle over coffee. Ayşegül’s lovely conversation and Tuğba’s cheerful smile add to the welcoming feel. The hotel is in a great spot, with the beaches and sea right beside it and parking spaces nearby. It suits families and young people, and it’s easy to build friendly connections here. We recommend a visit for a pleasant holiday.

It’s a small hotel with five rooms, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from both public beaches and beaches with jetties. Our room was clean and a good size. We enjoyed sitting at the table assigned to our room or spending time in the little shared garden. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the friendly staff did their best.
