Service was friendly and good, and there was always someone available. We could keep the room later after checkout, then stay at the hotel and use the pool and other facilities until departure. Showers and toilets were available too. The pool and poolside area are lovely, with enough loungers and parasols, some natural shade and a shaded bar right beside it. Rooms are small with tiny balconies, clean but dated, and I’d have liked a separate seating area. The AC had to be set as low as 25° or the room got very cold at night. It’s optional and currently £8 per night, cash only. The location is very good for the nearby beach and amenities, although fairly far from an airport, as is Marmaris. We liked that İçmeler feels a little more intimate than Marmaris.

Back again for 10 days from 25/8/24, and I just love this hotel. It’s near all the shops and bars, and the staff are great, friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. There are loads of sunbeds, though a few more umbrellas for shade would be useful.

We enjoyed our stay overall, mainly because the staff were lovely and very accommodating. The hotel badly needs a refurb and lifts installed. Even though the rooms were cleaned daily, they’re in desperate need of updating. The shower head wasn’t good, and I found it hard to step in and close the doors. The showers should be at floor level.

It’s close to the main street and under 10 minutes from the beach, with an easy 20-minute bus ride into Marmaris. The hotel was clean and mostly welcoming, though one staff member was particularly rude, something several other guests mentioned too. Breakfast was poor and the same every morning: tomatoes, cucumber, salami, eggs and toast.

I’ve just returned from three weeks at the ERCAN HAN HOTEL and had a great time. The staff were all very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s a great swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds, plus a bar serving drinks and food. The hotel is well placed for restaurants and bars, and it’s about a 10 minute stroll to the prom/beach, or 5 minutes if you walk fast. Restaurant-bars along the beach offer free sunbeds as long as you buy a drink or food.
