Özlem 1 Apart

The pool was cloudy and never seemed to get cleaned. The rooms were outdated and dirty, and we were sure there was a mouse living behind the fridge. The cleaner barely cleaned, and fire safety didn’t seem to exist. It’s not child-friendly, especially with the balconies as they are. The staff were rude and wouldn’t even look at you when you asked a question. This was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. I’d really avoid it.

Just avoid this place. The rooms were filthy, everything was broken, and the staff were dysfunctional and rude. The owner, Peter, looked stressed. Two beers and two cherry juices cost £25. There’s too much to list, just don’t go. You’ve been warned!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool isn’t big, but it’s deep enough to enjoy and play around in. The bed mattress was comfortable and the fridge was new, though the furniture was old and shabby. The bathroom was okay, but the shower water wouldn’t drain and there was a bad smell. The cleaning lady came every day to make the bed, mop, and take out the trash, but that wasn’t enough. The apartment was already dusty when we arrived. I think it needs a lot more thorough cleaning before and after guests. We didn’t eat at the bar because we sometimes saw a cat going into the kitchen. Ozlem apart,Ozlem Hotel and Ozlem Apart 1 are the same apartment. We planned to come back to Içmeler, but definitely not to this apartment.

It was another great holiday, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. The staff were lovely and the food was great. I’ve already booked to return in September.
