Ridos Thermal Hotel Spa

The pool had a very oily film on top, and the hammam smelled bad. Our rooms hadn't been renovated, and the whole hotel felt very cold despite being a thermal hotel. They didn't provide pool towels, saying they were very busy over the weekend. The open buffet dinner also came with extra charges for water and even one soft drink. When I asked about the soft drink, a staff member rolled their eyes and didn't answer. It felt really disrespectful. The hotel owners' wives were smoking in the winter garden while people were eating dinner, which also showed no respect for the guests. This definitely isn't a five-star hotel, and the stay wasn't worth it. So sad to have that experience.

The service at both breakfast and dinner really stood out this time, with better variety, quality, and hospitality. I also noticed the hotel seemed more orderly and clean. I last stayed here in 2023, two years ago, and the difference on this visit was huge. I loved being back in Trabzon and only wished I could stay longer. I hope they keep up this level of service and quality.

The location is incredible, but the hotel was disappointing. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very poor for the price. The furniture, bathrooms, and TV look like they're from the 1980s and need immediate renovation. There's no flat-screen TV, and the channels aren't stable. It's a shame such a great location doesn't have better accommodation and care. I'd love to visit again, but the hotel needs to improve.
