Arkem Maltepe

It’s a quiet area, with supermarkets and a pharmacy nearby. Public transport is just a minute away. The soundproofing is very poor.

Rooms are tidy and clean, and the setting feels peaceful and safe. Management is excellent, and the friendly staff speak English well. Highly recommended!

I was treated in a deeply disrespectful way at arkem hotel 2, where the incident happened. My name is Ikran, and I had unbooked my stay from 6jun to 30 June because of how I was treated. I have the bookings and unbookings and will uncover the hotel’s lies. I knew they would deny this. They were racist toward me. Because of my color, they wouldn’t let me have a guest, assuming I was selling my body because I’m a woman and the guest was a man. Other guests could have visitors. The website says guests are allowed, but they humiliated me in front of others even after I explained he wasn’t staying, he only wanted to see my room. The receptionist was rude and shouted at me. They didn’t act professionally. After this treatment, I unbooked because I didn’t want to remain somewhere I was discriminated against. Now they’re demanding payment for the whole month even though I unbooked. If people are treated this way, they won’t stay at the hotel, regardless of whether it says a booking can’t be unbooked. Book at your own risk.

I was really annoyed with the hotel administration. I’m still here after 18 days, but my flight was moved three days earlier, so I asked for a refund for those three nights. They refused, saying there were no refunds. That wasn’t explained when I booked, and I booked directly at the desk without an agency. My room was good and enormous, and the team was very helpful at first. When I asked to change rooms, they were pleased to arrange it.
