Avist Hotel Avcilar

We left after just one night and moved to another hotel. The rooms were cold, and the whole place was extremely dirty. We changed rooms four times, but each one had serious cleanliness problems. Although Avist Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, everywhere smelled strongly of cigarettes. It was unbearable and made the stay miserable. We had also paid extra for a jacuzzi room to relax, but the jacuzzi was dirty too. There were bugs in the drawer and visible mould on the walls. These conditions were shocking and far below any acceptable hotel standard. Stay AWAY !!!

After one night we decided to leave. When I told the receptionist we weren't coming back, he didn't seem to care or offer any help. The room was very cold and uncomfortable, so relaxing or sleeping properly was impossible. It was filthy too: bugs in the room, visible mould on the walls, and dirty sheets. The hygiene was unacceptable. Getting there from the airport took far longer than expected and was a nightmare. The location felt like the middle of nowhere, far from major attractions, public transport, and sightseeing spots in Istanbul. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I strongly advise people to choose somewhere else and avoid Avist Hotel in Istanbul.

My 12-night reservation turned into just one night, then I checked out. The whole hotel, including the rooms, smelled of smoke, and the rooms were dirty. The staff were the worst. General manager Fatih and receptionist Ahmet were unprofessional and dishonest. Booking here was a big mistake. Don't make the same mistake, you'll regret it....!

I stayed for two days and found getting here by transport the easiest of anywhere I've been. Everyone was helpful and deserves appreciation, but receptionist Mr. Ahmet especially stood out. He was caring and made me feel comfortable, always finding quick solutions whenever I needed something. He's a wonderful person with a place in people's hearts. I'd recommend it to anyone stopping over in Istanbul.
