For a short visit, maybe 1-4 days, I'd recommend this hostel because the prices are low and you can look for something better afterward. The owner is friendly and honest, and for that price it’s hard to find much better in Fatih, even though the place has plenty of drawbacks. The room is small and cold, with a smell of smoke, somewhat dirty furniture and bath, and no fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, or oven. Hot water sometimes has problems, the internet is slow and weak, and you can hear people talking in nearby rooms because sound isolation is poor. There's also a big market in front every Wednesday.

Great location, and the reception feels friendly and warm. But this isn't a hostel at all, just a simple guest house with no cooking space or common area. The rooms are below standard.

The owner was kind, but this was the worst hotel I've stayed at in Istanbul. The room was awful, full of smoke and garbage. The cigarette smoke made it impossible to breathe, and the bathroom was dirty. The bed ruined our day.

We really liked our stay at this hostel and I'd definitely recommend it. It's close to the mosque, and there's a big bazaar or shopping center every Wednesday. 😍😍

Thanks to brother Muhammad for being kind and making sure visitors were comfortable. The hotel stay was good, and those in charge paid attention to cleanliness.
