The room lock felt loose, and I didn’t feel safe. Noise came through the thin walls several times during the night and woke me up. There were stained sheets and pillowcases, hair around, marked walls, missing light switches, and a broken toilet paper holder. The place smelled of smoke even though I’d asked for a non-smoking room. The bidet sprayed water everywhere, so keep your eyes shut. The staff experience seems to vary a lot. At least the AC worked. Maybe it beats sleeping on the street.

The staff were patient and helpful when a money transfer took longer than expected, and I got good rest during my few days at City Night Suites&Hotels in winter. The place was comfortable and roomy, with the appliances guests need. They were having trouble with the heating at the time, as I remember, because of renovation. I had a great stay, thanks.

A friend recommended this hotel after my friends and I had stayed somewhere disappointing on an earlier Istanbul trip. It turned out to be a great choice. We were especially happy with how reception treated us, particularly a woman named Sude. We're very grateful.

The room was spacious, which is why I’m giving this two stars. Otherwise, the place was shockingly dirty, with a mouldy sink and towels that were filthy, though I wish I’d taken photos. The whole property reeked of cigarettes. There was no Wi-Fi, as others have mentioned, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel in the 21st century, especially with so many tourists staying there.

The rooms felt new and modern, and the hotel was really nice and clean. Staff are there around the clock, always helpful and friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to feel like they’re at a 5-star hotel :) Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Turkey, 100%.
