Delita City Hotel

I felt very comfortable whenever I dealt with the staff. They were wonderful and helped with everything I needed, and breakfast was very nice too. The hotel itself was comfortable, quiet and safe, with shops, restaurants, services and lots of places nearby. I feel lucky I chose it and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul who wants to stay in a lively area. I'd definitely choose Delita city hotel again.

The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping kept coming even late. Breakfast had a really satisfying range of choices. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. They helped us with everything, including a SIM card and an airport taxi that was much cheaper than others. Thank you, Delita Hotel, for filling my holiday with good memories. Whenever I come to Turkey, this is my first stop. The rooms are roomy and warm, or cool in summer, and the beds are soft and clean. With a central location and quality service, it's a hotel worth choosing. I'd recommend it to all my friends visiting Istanbul.

The reliable Wi-Fi and excellent water pressure and temperature were about the only positives. For the very high nightly price, the stay and service were far below an acceptable standard, and we left highly dissatisfied. The room was tiny, with barely any room to move. The bed was smaller than a proper single, more like a 'half-person' bed, and the hard mattress made sleep difficult. We asked for an iron and got a broken one, so we had to go back to reception for another. Someone rang our room phone at 10 PM while we were asleep. When we asked the next morning, staff just said, 'I don’t know, we didn’t.' Maybe it was a ghost. They advertise a restaurant, but there isn't one. Breakfast was the same each day for our six-day stay. The toiletries were poor and ineffective. We requested cleaning, but they only changed the towels, not the sheets during all six days. There was hair on the bathroom door and floor, which was absolutely disgusting.
