Faros Hotel Taksim

We had a great stay at Faros. The buffet breakfast was good, and the rooms, though a little small, were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower had good hot water and drained properly, and housekeeping brought two complimentary water bottles each day. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Taksim. Staff were always helpful and cooperative. Special thanks to Ahmed, the best guy at the hotel, and to Lukman, Kamal, and Efe. Sorry to the others I've forgotten!

We stayed in the lovely attic room, which made the visit feel extra special. The owners were warm and welcoming when we met them, and the staff were kind and thoughtful throughout. The location was just right, breakfast had a delicious range of choices, and daily cleaning kept the room spotless. It really felt like home, and I'd happily recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.

We stayed in Room 202 from 10th oct, till 17th of oct. The staff were sweet, approachable, and helpful without making things complicated. Most could speak Arabic, English, and Turkish. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom and shower, hot and cold water, a good mini bar, hot drinks, a safe, and a small wardrobe. It was usually quiet at night, and most days I slept like a baby. There's a disco nearby that plays loud music, but with the windows closed you can barely hear it. Taksim Square and the metro are five minutes away, so getting around by public transport was easy. Breakfast felt homey, with the basic things you'd have at home, plus different salads and appetizers and one changing item each morning. Loved our stay and would come back again and again.

The lobby and floors were spotless, and the rooms were really clean. The staff were very friendly, especially Fırat, the gentleman who offers complimentary items. Honestly, this place is nicer than most four-star hotels I've seen.
