Gul Proje Express - Block B, Flat 78

The view and the building yard were lovely, and I liked the place during my two-week stay. My studio was tidy and clean, with everything I needed, and it all seemed new. The location was good too. The security staff were kind, especially the woman wearing a hijab. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, though, and the kitchen appliances were very basic and could be better.

There’s no market or shops nearby, and no transport either, so you need a car to live here. The project still isn’t finished, yet they’re renting out homes without essentials ready, including the heating system and hot water. And first of all, it is not pet friendly.

The place itself is nice, but I’m still not sure about the quality. I noticed defects in several places, and the staff seemed scarce, hard to find, and unprofessional, with little customer service or care. On the plus side, you get the title deed to your home quickly. I’m still trying it out and haven’t lived there yet, so these are just my first impressions and I may find more issues. I’d definitely recommend buying directly without a real estate agent.

The staff were nice and gave excellent service during my pleasant month here through Airbnb. Getting to a market or public transport was a problem, though. I had to walk 25 minutes, and I don’t like taking taxis unless I have to. One security woman at B Blok gave us a hard time when we came in. We explained repeatedly that we hadn’t been given an access card, and my host eventually had to talk with her by phone. It happened twice during our month-long stay.
