Hotel Acar

The location is very good, but our room had water dripping from the ceiling, and the shower was set up so you had to use it while on the toilet. No one told us the check-out time when we arrived. At 12:30 in the morning, a staff member knocked on our door; when we said we’d be leaving shortly, she told us to leave right away in a tone that felt like she was kicking us out. Avoid room 104.

We came to Kadıköy as a family for a Fenerbahçe match and stayed one night. The best part was that the owners arranged parking right in front of the hotel, and I’m very grateful to them for that. When I called to ask about a reservation, I was quoted one price; later another man called and said his colleague had given me the wrong information, then quoted a slightly higher amount. In the end, they let us pay cash at the first price. The room was small, the beds were worn and uncomfortable, and the place could use some maintenance and renovation. For the location and price, though, expectations should be modest. Anyone looking for luxury can pay two or three times more to stay elsewhere.

The room was spotless and smelled incredibly pleasant, and the staff were friendly, patient, and hospitable. The location felt very safe and central, so I’d feel comfortable choosing this place again. There were cleaning supplies in the toilet and bathroom, plus clean linens, towels, and slippers. Air conditioning and a TV were provided too. With how hard it is to find safe, clean accommodation these days, this was a wonderful place. Thanks for everything.

Getting around from here is easy: the ferry terminal is a three-minute walk away, bus stops are two minutes away, and the airport metro is five minutes away. The hotel has lovely decor, and the staff were friendly and very helpful with parking. Thanks to them and everyone involved. I highly recommend it.
