They only offer non-refundable rates, and the discounts on websites look fake to me. The prices seem inflated to make the hotel appear like a great deal. A stay costs 30 USD, then they raise it to 150 USD for last-minute bookings, so it looks like they're offering a big discount. By the time people realize the mistake, it's too late, and they won't refund a penny. The stay itself will be terrible. I won't get into the other details, but you can read the lowest-rated reviews. Stay at your own risk. THIS IS A SCAM!

Worst hotel I've stayed at in Turkiye, and my first and last time here. The room was cold because the heating system was so bad. The light was very dim, the wifi signal was poor, and the floor was cracked everywhere, so it felt like it might crack more wherever you walked. The staff were rude, didn't seem to understand the hotel's problems, and just sat on their phones. They didn't understand English at all. If you're running a business in hospitality, you need to know how to provide good service and satisfy customers. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It feels like they're only here to make money.

The broken window was the last straw: snow was coming in through it, and after I called reception three times over a few hours, nobody came to fix it. We were given a room with the window open, and the staff we tried to talk to couldn’t even speak politely. The hotel sits between two hillsides, so getting public transport means crossing a mountain. The location is awful, and there’s no service. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially families or couples. I still don’t understand how this place has four stars. Please look at the photos taken after they moved us to a better room.

I’d choose Istanbul Dora hotel again whenever I’m in Istanbul, and I’d recommend it to friends and family. The place is clean and up to date, the staff are friendly, and the food is nice. It has a really beautiful atmosphere.
