The backyard is lovely for breakfast or a bit of rest before heading out again. The room was good, and the price was affordable and very reasonable. Owner Mr. Yakub was kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, clubs, the bus station, and the sea.

Housekeeping was sporadic, and the Wi-Fi was okay. The place is run by two male family members: the younger one is friendly and puts out breakfast, while the older one doesn't smile much. They seemed to have trouble understanding why two men might want to share one large bed when two singles were available. It's a Muslim country.

We stayed three nights. Free water, tea, and coffee were available around the clock, and the rooms were okay and not too small. The location was ideal, about a five-minute walk from public transport, shops, restaurants, and a travel office. Breakfast was the weak point: basic, with very little choice.

The room had a small fridge, enough towels, a comfy bed, TV, air conditioning, a kettle, hot water, shower slippers, and a hairdryer. There's Wi-Fi on each floor, plus a kitchen and garden. Breakfast was nice, drinks were reasonably priced, and you can borrow an iron and ironing board. No little shampoo bottles, though. Smoking isn't allowed in rooms, but the garden is fine for it. There's an elevator, which is handy with heavy luggage, and you can also enter from ground level. Reception is one level up, and they let us leave our luggage during the day. It's a small but very cute, clean place, with a cozy garden beside the breakfast area, flowers and plants, and a kitchen that looked neat and clean. It seemed recently designed or arranged, and it feels like they really care for the place and try to offer good service. The staff and reception were friendly and kind, and Mr Türker Bey was particularly helpful and caring. The rate was very reasonable and the location brilliant, just a few steps from the Rıhtım area of Kadıköy and a few hundred metres from the Havaist airport shuttles and other public transport. There are plenty of shops nearby. I was happy with my first stay and would definitely come back.
