Livinton Hotel

The rooms were spotless, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the meals we ordered were good too. From the moment we arrived, people greeted us courteously. It was a real help that they spoke English and could answer our questions. We did spend more on Ubers and taxis, but it was always nice to come back to a place that felt like home. A big thank you to the lovely receptionist with curly hair. You were so kind and amazing.

I was staying here as a patient at Veni Vidi Göz Eye Hospital, and the hotel was well connected to the clinic, which made the whole trip smooth and stress-free. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I especially loved the pillows. The food was a highlight. Everything from breakfast through dinner was delicious, some of the best hotel meals I've had. The location was convenient too. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. I understand that cancellation rules apply, but some flexibility would have been appreciated. I booked through Agoda with free cancellation, then my travel plans changed and I missed the deadline. The booking went unused: I never checked in or used the room. I contacted Agoda and the hotel soon after, and asked for a partial refund or credit, but the hotel declined. To clarify, Agoda contacted the hotel directly to request a goodwill refund, and the property turned it down. I wasn't expecting the policy to disappear, but a little goodwill for an unused booking would have helped. Future guests may want to keep this in mind when choosing their booking options.

Cemal and Beril, thank you for all the hard work and kindness. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay really pleasant. Our rooms were beautiful and so clean, and we liked the location and the hotel's service. 10/10.
