We got engaged on the terrace of our suite at Maroon Bosphorus, looking out over Istanbul and the Bosphorus. The hotel is gorgeous and feels like a relic of the town, and the staff were warm and attentive. We had a perfect stay for a great price, especially given the location. We’ll be back!

I’ve stayed in plenty of Istanbul hotels, including some of the top-rated ones, and Maroon Bosphorus is among the best. The location is superb, the rooms are very clean, and the service was really good. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

It can be hard to spot this small hotel, since it’s on the fourth floor and there’s no sign on the building. Once you’re in, though, the rooms have classic decor and a nice view of the Bosphorus.

The room was big and clean, and the staff were friendly, especially Mr Ahmed and Dolaky. It’s a nice place to stay near Taksim Square. Breakfast was good, though not the best part.

The rent felt overpriced, and breakfast was limited. It’s two floors up inside a building, so if you’re expecting ordinary hotel services, this probably isn’t the place for you.
