I asked the hotel and Booking.com for a refund as soon as I saw the room, but I never got any compensation. It felt like I’d paid for something that wasn’t really there, and the whole experience honestly seemed like a scam. I arrived around 2 a.m. on 30 Aprill 2025, exhausted and already feeling low. The place was filthy, nothing like the photos on Booking.com. The bed was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, and everything seemed neglected. Staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem interested in addressing my concerns. I’ve stayed at plenty of budget hotels, but this was the worst experience I’ve had. It was unhygienic and so different from the online listing. I strongly advise people to avoid it.

The calm atmosphere and the feeling of security made us feel at home, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. The location is ideal, very close to the city center of Taksim, so we could enjoy our time there. Our room wasn’t quite like the photos and wasn’t anything special, but we still loved our stay. We’ll definitely return!

The room smelled really bad, and during my 12 days there they sent a cleaner only once, after I asked. I usually ended up cleaning it myself. There’s no telephone in the room to call reception if you need anything. I’d had liposuction surgery, and they charged me an extra 1000 Lt to let a lymphatic therapist come to my room. This place doesn’t deserve even one star.

The location is the real plus, just a one-minute walk from taksim square and istiqlal street. The rooms are very tight and cramped, but for the price it’s not a bad deal.
