The rooms were clean, prices were very reasonable, and the place had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Ahmet, the owner, was incredibly friendly and professional, while Mohammed at reception was especially welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it for a comfortable, affordable stay. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The staff made my stay at the Arcadia Hotel really pleasant. They were welcoming and always happy to help. I’d be glad to come back soon.

We paid in cash at the accommodation, but when I asked for a receipt, the young man refused and said they only issue them for card payments. Three days later, my card was charged again for the same night, and for a higher amount. I suspect they may mark us as no-shows on booking because the reservation is “non-refundable,” leaving the cash payment unaccounted for. I’ve contacted the hotel countless times with no reply, and reached out to booking to explain what I believe is a scam. We’re still waiting for a response and hope it gets resolved. It’s unacceptable to keep lying to people and taking their money without caring at all. The listing photos on booking don’t look real, and the price doesn’t match what’s offered. The area felt dangerous. Our sheets were dirty, there were no toiletries, the cupboards were broken, the furniture badly molded, and the bathroom drain was clogged. There is NO PARKING. They expect you to leave your car at the entrance with the keys so they can move it when needed. DON’T DO THAT! We chose to use a paid parking lot five minutes away instead. At checkout, they also asked us to pay for water and chocolate from the room fridge, though we hadn’t touched either.

I’m still terrified by how this was handled. I’d booked a room a week ahead and travelled across the border, only to be told on arrival that the reservation had been cancelled because of a hot water shortage. The hotel was still operating for other guests. The owner didn’t even write me down, so I had to find somewhere else on my own. Terrible host, no communication, and there was no parking at all.
