The owner was kind and welcoming, and helped us quickly with everything. The hotel is close to Taksim, Galata, the metro, and the sea. Definitely recommended.

They charged me through agoda.com for a room I never stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend either the hotel or agoda.com. About 10-15 minutes later, the management messaged to say every room was full, but a system error had made them appear available. They said they couldn’t host me because I’d already made a reservation. I contacted the site’s support, but they told me they couldn’t cancel it. I feel completely scammed. If the rooms are full, they shouldn’t be listed as available. I don’t believe this was a system error, and I wonder if they’re trying to fool us. I plan to file a complaint with the consumer arbitration board. After booking, I couldn’t find anyone to contact.

The historic building was clean and felt safe, with a central spot close to everything. Great value for the money, and I’d recommend it.
