My two-night stay left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. I have never been treated with such contempt in a hotel. The staff acted arrogantly and condescendingly, as though my concerns didn't matter. I strongly advise anyone seeking a pleasant, respectful stay to avoid this place. This experience can ruin a trip. I'd avoid even looking at this hotel online, and at the brand that owns seven hotels in Istanbul. Apparently, they're all worse than each other. At reception, a young woman showed me a French translation on her phone saying I had to pay the equivalent of €500 more to stay. When I questioned the charge, the manager told me by phone my situation would be sorted the next day. Instead, the next day the hotel manager told me to leave. I was shocked and thought I should have gone to the nearest police station because I felt an attempted fraud was being prepared against me. He also threatened to file a complaint if I kept explaining why I was dissatisfied. I was stunned and speechless. It felt like he was turning things around and playing the victim to pressure me into paying. I was also offered the option of paying €300 more, and then felt I was being extorted and that the hotel was hiding strange things. I had booked months earlier and was told on arrival I owed an extra hundred euros. They said prices had gone up over the past two or three months, making me feel punished for planning my trip ahead, something I have never encountered anywhere in the world. The manager said Opodo, where I booked, had not paid the hotel. Opodo confirmed that it had paid, and told me this problem had apparently been going on for months. I changed hotels after just two nights and asked for a refund for the rest of my booking, but the hotel categorically refused. The room was nowhere near the advertised standard. It was dirty, the sheets were stained, and the bathroom was in poor condition. The walls were covered in coffee stains or something similar, and it was disgusting. Despite repeated complaints and my request to change rooms, nothing was done. The promised equipment wasn't available, and the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent. When I asked about it, I got no explanation or solution. Hygiene was awful. There was dirt even on the door handle, which I didn't dare touch, and I think there may have been bed fleas. A French couple I met downstairs warned me this would stay in my negative memories forever, and I can confirm it has. I don't understand how people can work in a hotel with so little heart, courtesy or response, only disrespect and humiliation, apparently with complete impunity. The part that shocked me too was that when you try to explain your situation, even though they know it perfectly well, they look at each other.

Everything about the hotel was great. The location was amazing, with everything I needed within walking distance. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Terrible service. They were rude and disrespectful, and didn't clean the room. When I asked for cleaning, they wanted an extra fee. Don't waste your money here.

This was my first time in Turkey, and I couldn't be happier. I loved the room service and the staff.
