In December 2024 I spent a couple of nights here for about $260. The hotel has a modern, minimalist look, and it's in Karaköy with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Galataport is just a five-minute walk away. I knew the area was noisy before arriving, so it wasn't a surprise, but the bar street below stays loud until around 1-3 am. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. My room also wasn't very clean: stains on the carpet, an orange peel under the mini fridge door, and a napkin still covering the fire alarm, presumably left by the previous guest to smoke. When I got there from the airport at about 6 pm, there was no receptionist around. Someone from the street noticed me waiting in the hotel and went to find him. It's decent if being in a good location matters more to you than service.

The room was so tiny and cramped there wasn't even space for our luggage. We also couldn't sleep through the night because the bars right below the hotel had loud music and shouting going until early morning. The photos give a very misleading impression, and the place felt like a tourist trap. The bathroom and shower weren't clean, the towels were dirty, there was hair all over the floor, and the duvet smelled really bad. We asked reception several times to have the room cleaned, but nobody came. A very unpleasant stay, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting comfort or a quiet night.

I was traveling alone and felt scared when a man entered my room at 4 am on September 26th. The door had no manual lock, so I pushed a bedside table against it and wedged clothes under a shoe to keep it from opening. About 15 to 20 minutes later, he tried another guest's door nearby, and they screamed at him. I later asked to see the cameras, but nobody was at reception. Staff eventually said the man was a former guest who still had the key card for my room, which doesn't make sense to me. They only offered free coffee at the downstairs coffee shop, the same place playing loud music. I regret not finding another hotel, even though I couldn't afford to switch at the time. The whole stay was unsettling. The room I got first was smaller than what I had booked and sat above a cafe that played loud music all day. Every night I had to use noise-canceling headphones to get any rest. The bathroom door was broken and filthy. I requested a move and was put on an upper floor, but that bathroom was so dirty I had to buy cleaning supplies just to use it. They never cleaned the bedroom during my stay. The receptionist was hardly ever in the building. I had messaged someone on WhatsApp who I thought was hotel staff, since he had previously written about the room change, but it turned out he didn't work there. That means my personal information wasn't private. He came over, and I felt I had to be nice because I was alone and he had been flirting with me on WhatsApp, even wishing me "sweet dreams". That's completely unprofessional.

The rooms and staff were nice, and the location made it easy to walk to transit and places of interest. But we were on the first floor and couldn't sleep with the bar downstairs blasting music until at least 2 am. Don't stay here if you're hoping to sleep at night.

The rooms are small but clean, and the staff were quite attentive and nice. The location is central and convenient. The trouble is the bars on the street below, which play music until at least 2-3 am even on random weekdays. We were on the second of three floors, and it felt like the speakers were in our room. There were five people dancing to themselves outside, with YouTube ads even playing between songs. Top quality entertainment, NOT!
